Candyland - was created by Eleanor Abbott in the 1940's. The game is a great "first" experience in game play. The game teaches color recognition and matching. No ability to read is necessary and only minimal counting skills. Players follow the board to reach Candyland but have shortcuts and pitfalls as they play. In December 2005, Candyland led the list of most popular American toys in Forbes magazine. For 2-4 players ages 3-6 |

| Mousetrap - This game is a study of mechanics! All along the board there are places where the players will win a "part" of the mechanism. When the parts are all together, the mousetrap is activated, capturing the unsuspecting "Mice" (other players). The game accomodates 2-4 players and is not for children under 3 because of small pieces. Even adults will enjoy this game. | ||
| Cootie - Players race to build a plastic bug, rolling a die to see which peice they get to add. There are hundreds of ways to build them and they're never the same. The player who finishes his bug first is the winner. Great for teaching colors and patience! Ages 3-6. 1-4 players. | ||
My First Uno - This is a version of Uno that has been scaled back for children. (See Uno in Indoor Games). 2-4 players. Ages 3 and up |
