A bit about...

Croquet - The original lawn game of the Middle Ages!  It was influenced by the British game of Cricket and it's distant cousin, golf.

This game is not about scoring.  It is a race Players take turns hitting their ball with a mallet, through the series of wire hoops called "wickets".  Along the way, there are bonus shots and opportunities to "send" another player's ball away from their goal wicket.  The first player to the final stake, wins the game.

There are many versions of the game.  Some are very involved and challenging.  This is a game that can be played by very young children and yet older youth and adults can find a variation that spurs their competitive spirit.
